Just because. That particular bit is like the thing Lil Wayne and Drake do. I like that thing they do where they talk about something backwards, so they talk about it but then say what it actually is on the next line.

Prokofiev: Piano Concerto No. Great idea to add something extra for the LP version. Love it. Not heard the leak but checked out R U Mine on the album stream on iTunes. I'm not feeling it. The reverb on Alex's voice gives him an ethereal quality which doesn't suit the song.
The end is really a mess of noise. It actually sounds overproduced to hell. Haven't decided yet. I do like the intro and the falsetto background singing though. In general it's gonna take a month to be able to review any song really. The flac upload is much appreciated that's for sure. But I don't like the effect added in a fraction of a second before the drums kick in at the start, just sounds odd..
And Turner's vocals sound more synthetic than the RSD version, which actually contrasts with much of his vocals on the rest of the album in many ways, rather than fitting in with them. The falsetto sounds way better on this version, and how you were saying the first note changed halfway through, it did that on the single too, it just wasn't as jarring.
Glad I'm not alone in thinking this version is better. I love the grittiness of the album version. Sounds so much nicer than the overly polished single, I never really liked it much until hearing it on the album. You can post now and register later.
